sometimes you give up some dreams in order to pursue others. but at the same time… it makes you realize why it is that you are pursuing those dreams in the first place.
not so long ago… i was honestly pursuing a career in puppetry. all i wanted in the world was to work for the Jim Henson company. (i’m not even kidding.) i’ve built puppets, put on puppet shows.

and days run together into weeks and time is something i’ve lost track of…
up again.
my sleep schedule is so messed up right now. a few hours asleep. a couple awake. a few more asleep. some just… laying there. currently fighting off an impending anxiety attack. not sure what brought it on. i think i’m very good at self-sabotage. personally and relationaly. i can only...
so in the continuing weirdness that is my life… this week i’ve lost power at my house, (tuesday) almost got evicted, (wednesday) and now i’m playing a show in april with rose funeral and the world we knew.
sometimes life is strange.
i need to adjust my sleep schedule
and stop sleeping in alternating 2-3 hour shifts.
that being said. i’m going back to bed? i think. still tired. picking up the house a little first. then sleep.

well… i WAS going to work all afternoon/night, but… writing struck. i have a solo show in two weeks with Harley Poe and Homeless Gospel Choir and Lune and i haven’t got a full set yet. so… i’ve been writing when i can get the chance and … i think i may have the pieces for a couple new songs. we shall see.

no care ever. seriously. 11 original songs. 11 covers. nothing over a minute and a half. and they cover… gorilla biscuits, the promise ring, descendents, GOB, dead kennedy’s, orchid, green day, good clean fun… honestly, that’s pretty decent.

You can’t just start many bands and hope that something will happen with one of them. If you’re hoping to create something people will enjoy, respect, and tell others about you should just put a lot of effort into one or two bands, not 4 or 5.
